FAQ

Before you hit submit.

Can you meet building requirements and provide certificates of insurance?+

Yes. A certificate of insurance naming your building management as additional insured is issued within 48 hours of request, with multi-additional-insured structures for portfolio accounts. Crews follow your building's access, sign-in, and after-hours procedures, including Class A requirements.

Are your cleaners employees or subcontractors?+

Cleaning crews are 100% Anvil W-2 employees — background-checked, trained in-house, never subcontracted, no staffing agencies. Specialty trades such as handyman, HVAC, and plumbing are performed by licensed, insured trade partners under one Anvil contract and COI. Why the staffing model matters: W-2 crews vs subcontracted cleaners.

How much does commercial cleaning cost in New York and New Jersey?+

It depends on square footage, visit frequency, and scope, and we publish real ranges rather than making you call to find out. See the commercial cleaning cost guide for per-visit and per-square-foot ranges across NYC and New Jersey. Final pricing follows a walkthrough; the written proposal governs.

Do you clean after hours and overnight?+

Yes, as standard. Most commercial cleaning runs outside business hours, so overnight, early-morning, weekend, and holiday shifts are the norm, scheduled around your building's access procedures.

How fast do you respond?+

Every inquiry gets a response within one business day. On active accounts, service issues are addressed at the next scheduled visit, and any missed visit is automatically credited on the next invoice.

Is Anvil certified and insured?+

Anvil Facility Services is M/WBE certified and fully insured, carrying general liability, excess/umbrella, and workers' compensation coverage among other lines. The full coverage list and COI process are published on the insurance & compliance page.
